Walk to Stop Diabetes

The following is a correspondence that was received from the American Diabetes Association -

The 2011 Nebraska Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes will take place Saturday, September 24, 2011.  This year's event will feature a great new venue, taking place at the centrally-located Aksarben Village.  Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m., with a 1-3 mile walk beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Being as though all of you share a mutual interest in our friends and neighbors living with diabetes, this would be a simple gesture, and a great opportunity to show your support for the individuals you touch each day.  Please consider registering a team for yourself and reaching-out to your past and present patients to join together in the fight to Stop Diabetes.

To register for this all-important event to raise funds for education, advocacy and research for Type 1, Type 2 and Gestational Diabetes, please visit http://www.diabetes.org/stepoutnebraska today.

With gratitude,
