The Virginia Coordinating Body of AADE invites you to join us for our annual state meeting Expanding the Spectrum on Diabetes Care on October 12-13, 2017!
The Virginia Coordinating Body of AADE is providing an opportunity for Diabetes Educators and those interested in diabetes education to update their knowledge regarding all aspects of the diabetes spectrum, including diabetes prevention, technology, medications, and psychological needs. Attendees will:
- Discuss the state of diabetes prevention program in Virginia.
- Discuss how new medications and technologies is utilized to improve glycemic control.
- Construct an optimal therapeutic regimen for patients with diabetes to achieve optimal individualized goals.
- Discuss the psychological impact of diabetes on an individual diagnosed with diabetes mellitus.
On October 12th we will have an optional dinner event sponsored by Novo Nordisk, followed by our meeting on October 13th. Please join us for both events!
