The 3rd Annual, “Destination Getaway” Sailing into Advanced Practice: A Course for Diabetes Educators will provide a clinical and didactic program with opportunities to interact with experts, who care for our most complex patients.

Invited speakers will share innovative, researched and applied techniques leaving the participants with a new toolbox for care and increased perspectives gleaned from an enriched knowledge base.

Program Objectives:

• Education for Diabetes Educators with recertification CEs for the CDE
• Promotion of our profession through collaboration and networking
• Fun, reconnection with old friends, connections to new friends and emotional renewal

A limited number of rooms have been reserved at the discounted rate of $139 per night - this includes 2 breakfast vouchers per room and free WIFI. These rates apply until 9/05/10. Please make your reservations early in the group name of AADE California state meeting and conference by Tuesday, August 31, 2010 for this rate.

On or before 9/08/10:

$200 for AADE members

$225 non-AADE members

On or after 9/09/10:

$225 for AADE members

$250 for non-AADE members

*On-site registration if space is available (we sold out last year)

Included with your registration are approx.14 AADE CEs (TBD), lunch Friday and Saturday, Friday night cocktail reception, breakfast in your room at the hotel (vouchers 2 per room) - commuters should eat breakfast at their homes or plan to join us at their own costs. Snacks will be available for purchase (this is for cost containment – since hotel snacks are rarely healthy and very expensive).

Parking is $12 a day and is not included so please carpool.

A $100 refund will be allowed if requested prior to 8/31/2010. No refunds will be allowed after this date.
In the unlikely event that the course is canceled, CA-AADE is responsible for registration fees only, not transportation, hotel accommodations or any miscellaneous expenses.
