at the Point Lookout Resort in Northport, Maine
This will be the last year that our fall conference will be held at Point Lookout Resort, so be sure to join us in one last year of learning, connecting and making memories at this amazing conference location!
***New conference location to be announced soon***
Beacon Award Nominations
Please help us recognize one of our own for guiding, inspiring and leading other diabetes educators!
The Beacon Award is given annually at our fall conference to a MeADE member who is highly motivated, involved and committed to MeADE and its membership. This person helps improve the lives of people with diabetes on a regular basis and is respected by his/her peers as well as the communities they work in.
Please take a moment to nominate a fellow MeADE member using this nomination form.
Nominations must be received by September 20, 2019. You may e-mail the completed form to Cindy Young.
Donations for the Silent Auction
The conference planning committee is also looking for donations for the silent auction that is held during the conference.
Anything is welcome from a small item to a themed basket full of goodies from you or your whole team. Each year we hear comments about how much fun the silent auction is, how creative people are, as well as how sneaky some people become when they really, really want a specific item. It’s all in good fun and we look forward to this annual tradition!
Proceeds from this auction help defer some of the costs of our conference.
If you are interested in donating, please e-mail either Cindy Young or Susan MacPherson and let them know if you are able to help us out.
We are so grateful for anything you might be willing to contribute, thank you!
