At this time, CDC does not list specific educational or credential requirements, in order to participate in a Lifestyle Coach training.
However, please note that in order to attend this training, you must be fluent in Spanish, as the training will include very little English spoken in the classroom.
AADE does require completing our online pre-work module for Community Health workers and non-Diabetes Educator. This module will be free and
sent out to only registered (paid) attendees, approximately one week prior to the training start date.

Pre-work on the background of National DPP, DPP study, and DPRP will be sent out to attendees one week prior to training. Participants will also need to leave extra space in luggage, as they will be able to take home all materials.
