Unfortunately, our host hotel, Hotel Murano, is currently sold out of WADE conference fee rooms for Thursday April 25th. In order to meet higher demand for rooms than anticipated, we are pleased to announce that we have a reserved block of rooms available just 2 blocks away at the Courtyard Marriott for $179/night. We understand that there will be a desire to transfer to Hotel Murano early Friday morning, or during break or lunch - we are working on a way to make this easy! Complimentary valet service of luggage for conference participants only from Courtyard Marriott on Friday morning to Hotel Murano will be provided. You must register at the front desk of Courtyard and bring your luggage to their front desk before 10am Friday April 26th. Your luggage will be brought to luggage storage at Hotel Murano and your room will be one of the earliest released for early check-in. Be sure to check in at Murano front desk.

What to Expect - A FLASH of current knowledge-based activities about care for those affected by or at risk for diabetes designed for health care providers such as: RNs, RDNs, Pharmacists, CDE's, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, PAs, MDs, and other allied health care providers.
Continuing education possibilities include: multidisciplinary speakers designed to empower the diabetes educator to provide optimum person-centered inter-professional care through updates in: technology, latest fad diets, Standards of Care in MNT and Nutritional Education, AADE- Project Vision, Medication Management, Renal Implications in DM, Cardiovascular Implications update, Emerging trends in DM education, Transitional care from hospital to home, and Transitional care from pediatric to adult endocrinology.
Customizable Program Learning: This unique program offers different levels of learning and skills. Each participant may select sessions according to self-assessed needs from emerging level to advanced practice.

Awards Luncheon on Saturday April 26th Presentation of the Diabetes Educator of the Year Award and the WADE Distinguished Service Award will be made at the luncheon on Saturday.
